How did my property become lost?
Property becomes “lost” when the asset and the original owner become disconnected. Career changes, relocation, mergers and acquisitions are just some examples of how a property may become lost.

Why do I need to use Asset Unite?

How much will this cost me?
Asset Unite works on a contingency basis only. This means we are only paid on success. You will never be asked for any monies upfront and we are paid directly from the holder. We are compensated a percentage of the total amount recovered.

How long will it take to have my property returned to me?
Once we receive all your documentation, the current turnaround times are approximately 4 months for cash and 14 months for stocks.

Why do stocks take so long to be returned?
After the initial approval of the claim, the holder of the stocks must then research the stock to see if there have been any stock splits or dividends to be paid back to you; this process takes a considerable amount of time.

I live in a different country from where my property is being held, how will I be paid?
You will be paid in US dollars via a warrant or check. Both of these can be paid into your regular bank account, at which point your bank will convert the funds into your own currency.

Where are my funds/stocks located?
Your funds or stocks are held either by financial institutions or State Departments, who provide Asset Unite with a list of people that they have not been able to locate. We have already carried out extensive research to locate you ensuring we are confident that you are the rightful owner of the property.
